Nieudany atak terrorystyczny?

Koniec kryzysu, Clinton wymazała wszystko z serwera

Ponad miesiąc temu Pentagon zmienił klasyfikacje dokumentu, aby uniknąć odpowiedzialność karną, a następnie go opublikował.

French Prosecutor: Co-Pilot 'Deliberately' Crashed Germanwings Flight

VOANEWS: A French prosecutor said Thursday that the co-pilot of the Germanwings passenger jet that crashed in the French Alps this week made a "deliberate attempt to destroy the aircraft."

Marseilles prosecutor Brice Robin said the co-pilot, 28-year-old Andreas Lubitz, locked the pilot out of the cockpit, leaving himself alone in control of the Airbus A320. The prosecutor said Lubitz then "accelerated the descent" of the aircraft, flying it at 700 kilometers an hour and crashing it into the remote, snowy mountains in southeastern France. All 150 people aboard were killed.

What's wrong with President Obama?

It is hard to understand our President. He finds the time to post his basketball tournament pics. He finds the time to campaign for his party. He finds time to visit late night TV shows. He finds time for a meeting with Hillary Clinton, basically a private citizen.

But, President Obama doesn't have time to...
...meet with the new head of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, and won't see Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg this week, even though he is in Washington for three days.  Stoltenberg’s office requested a meeting with Obama well in advance of the visit, but never heard anything from the White House.
The leaders of all other NATO countries found the time to meet Mr. Stoltenberg because it's important. This is the only man who can stop Vladimir Putin. Yet, for some unknown reason President Obama refuses to meet him.

This is not the first, second or third time Barack Obama lets his personal likes and dislikes drive his international politics. We know that he doesn't like Dalai Lama or Lech Walesa. Walesa dared to criticize his Nobel Peace Prize and he is now off Obama's Christmas list.

But NATO and its role in keeping the peace is probably the most important issue.
Last Friday, at the German Marshall Fund Brussels Forum, Stoltenberg talked about the importance of close coordination inside NATO in order to first confront Russian aggression and then eventually move toward a stable relationship with Moscow....
...Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski told the Brussels Forum that there has been a worrisome lag between NATO’s promises of more defensive equipment for Poland and what has actually arrived, a blow to the alliance's credibility. “It’s very important and necessary for everyone to have the conviction, including the potential aggressor to have this conviction, that NATO is truly determined to execute contingency plans,” he said.
Let us explain the issue using sport analogy:

Obama 0

Mandatory Voting, another "great" idea from President Obama

President Obama has another "great" idea that will improve our lives. This time it's mandatory voting. So, if you don't like either candidate, for example Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush, you would not have the right to send the message to your party by simply not voting.

That reminds me 1984 in Poland when students wanted to send the communist government the message by boycotting the elections. The problem was the secret police knew what was going on so the students were told that if they don't vote they will be kicked out from the schools.

It that what we want? Why would we want the government to know that we didn't vote? While the government may not know who we voted for some people will assume that they do and they will feel that they have to vote for the governing party.

This is the shortcut to transform the democracy into the dictatorship. Thanks a lot Mr. President.

We deserve an explanation from Ukrainian government

After an immense support from Poles for Ukraine in the latest conflict, we deserve an explanation why two weeks ago Ukraine's parliament saw that it was appropriate to honor the 65th anniversary of death of Roman Shukhevych? For those who hear this name for the first time, here is a brief, very brief, introduction: Mr. Roman Shukhevych is considered a war criminal. He is believed to be partially responsible for ethnic cleansing, or massacres at the scale and brutality never seen before in that part of Europe, of Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia.

The big question is: how the two-time recipient of the (German) Iron Cross (mentioned in the Polish version of Wikipedia, but not in the English version) and war criminal could also become a national hero?

Honoring such man while receiving help from Poles (some of them related to his victims) is a huge "slap in the face".

Russian Crimea: like it or leave or shut up

One year after the annexation of Crimea by Russia, Amnesty International published an article demonstrating campaign of terror and intimidation of press and critics of the new regime.
"Since Russia annexed Crimea, the de facto authorities are using a vast array of bully-boy tactics to crack down on dissent...
One year on from Crimea’s annexation, the attitude of its de facto authorities and their Russian masters can be summed up simply – like it or leave or shut up."
To summarize, the AI pictures Crimea not as a territory happily reunited with "mother Russia" but as an occupied territory were anything goes and people have to flee to seek any justice. The local people have "no right to protest or celebrate Crimean Tatar culture". Since annexation, at least seven people have been abducted, whose fate remains unknown. At least one other abducted person has been found dead, with signs of torture.

The big question is: what are WE going to do about it???

Barack's Soft Power at full display

Israeli PM, Netanyahu,  found himself on the receiving end of President Obama's wrath and now there is a waiting list forming for those who want to experience Barack's "Soft Power". Netanyahu's success in last night's election shows how the "Soft Power" (also known as "Smart Power") is really working.

BTW, Vladimir Putin is also enjoying President Obama's wrath. On the other hand, Ukraine's President who received Obama's full support was seen muttering something that sounded like "WTF?".

Should Poland start worrying???

Russia: show of force and movement of strategic missile units

Yesterday it was reported that Putin has put Northern Fleet in a full combat readiness. Today, there are reports that Russia is performing large scale military positioning toward the West, north and south. In the North-West, Putin is sending additional strategic missile units to Kaliningrad (between Poland and Lithuania), already the most heavily militarized area in Russia. Also, additional fighters and bombers are being moved there.

Apparently Putin doesn't think Crimea is sufficiently militarized yet so he is moving there strategic bombers (TU-22M3 also known as Backfire).

So now, Kaliningrad poses even greater treat to Eastern Europe and Crimea to the entire Black Sea region: Ukraine (of course), Georgia, Moldova, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria.

Is it really a coup, or is Putin smarter than the rest of us?

Only 24 hours after our post about the possibility about coup in Russia conservative TV and radio host, Glenn Beck is already worrying that this means nuclear war. Why? Because most of the rumors about coup also indicate that the coup may be masterminded by the hardline leaders of the old KGB.
...Russia-watchers including Michael Caputo and Tom Nichols have put forward a darker theory: Russia is in the middle of a coup, and if hard-liners win, Russian nukes could wind up pointed at the world’s major cities.
“One thing is for sure: while this plays out, the world is in far more danger than we were in February,” writes Caputo. “Pray for us all.”
Does he have a point? Can things get any worse?

Or....

Is Putin playing us? Is he trying to show us that without him things could get really, really bad, for all of us?

If he is, all other dictators will learn this lesson and will try to communicate to us that if they go away we will be sorry. In two years from now, the far-left wing of Democratic party, including  the MSNBC and CNN, will try to convince us that if President Obama leaves the office things will get ugly in America and that we should let him either stay in the office or run for the office again. Just like his friend, Putin.

Rumors around Putin's disappearance, one of them: coup d'etat

Where is Putin? It is a question, asked in Moscow, Russia and much of Europe. The total blackout around his whereabouts has already sparked a few rumors. One of them: he is sick, the other: his girlfriend had a baby in a Switzerland's clinic.

Finally, the third one that says that there was a coup d'etat and that "generals" from FSB (former KGB) took over.  According to the rumor's author, Andriej Iłłarionow, the "generals" with the quiet approval of the Russian Orthodox Church will replace both Putin and Medvedev (PM).

The future of Eastern Europe is not as bright as you might think

If you think that things in the Eastern Europe are finally getting better think again. Eastern Europe is bracing for the coming conflict, or even war, with Russia. How can we tell? Just read our headlines (on the left) and/or look into our archives. Nearly all Eastern European countries, except for Poland (for now), are planning to go back to the draft system instead of volunteer, or professional, military.

Poland, will run a countywide military drill, something (if memory serves) that has not happened in the last 45 years, not even during the invasion of Czechoslovakia in 1968 when war was a real possibility.
"Poland will stress-test its defense capabilities with a series of countrywide drills involving the government, local authorities and the military in response to the Ukraine crisis, Polish president's chief security adviser said." (see headlines).
Poland is also planing to call up men with no military experience to take part in compulsory army training. Again, something that has never happened before.

If you asked me, I would say it's about time we told our politicians to start paying more attention to what Putin is up to.

Putin is still a suspect in the Nemtsov's killing, those jailed in Russia were tortured to testify

According to Moscow's independent media the jailed suspect in Mr. Nemtsov's killing told human rights activists that he was pressured and tortured to admit to shooting. Among other thing he was promised that his friend arrested with him will be released. He admitted to the killing because he hoped to help himself and his friend. He also thought he will have a chance to change his confession.

State Department emails were hacked, should we believe that Hillary was better then security experts?

This is why what Hillary Clinton has done is not only stupid, irresponsible or even criminal, and why all government emails are supposed to be kept on highly protected government servers:
"...suspected Russian hackers have bedeviled State Department’s email system for much of the past year and continue to pose problems for technicians trying to eradicate the intrusion..." CNN reported on Tuesday.
“The attackers who breached State are also believed to be behind hacks on the White House’s email system, and against several other federal agencies, the officials say,”
By many officials this attack is considered the “worst ever” cyber-attack on America’s diplomatic establishment. It doesn't take that much to imagine that an attack on this level of sophistication would not even be noticed on a private server such as Clinton's.

BTW: Didn't we once say that a hack attack on government servers could be seen as an act of war?

Ukraine: Rebels attacked government positions using tanks and mortars

Last week EU announced that if Russian supported rebels and Russian forces attack Mariupol there would be immediate reaction that includes even more Russian sanctions. It seams that Putin is calling that bluff.
Separatists and "Russian tourists" attack with tanks and mortars a village of Shyrokyne located only 8 miles from Mariupol. The village has been virtually destroyed. The enemy's Grad missiles and artillery are pounding the village uninterruptedly. A lot of people have been wounded.

This is what marked Nemtsov for death

In Russia a lot of things could get you killed or marked for the attack, but then there is one that puts you in cross-hair right away: if you start asking about Russian casualties in Ukraine. This information is considered a state secret and if you start looking into it you quickly become an enemy.

Mr. Nemtsov was quite open about the fact that he wanted to expose Putin's lies about the war in Ukraine. Something that is very difficult in countries like Russia. For example: it is already known that Russians suffered a lot of casualties there, but the numbers are not there. The opposition groups estimate that between 800 and 5,000 troops were killed or wounded there, but they can't verify either number. Russian military found the way to hide those numbers. How? It is a combination of intimidation, bribes and hiding in plain sight and Russia is perfectly big for that.
For more details please read the article linked below.

#HillaryClinton

Hillary Clinton may actually end up in prison instead of the White House

From what we can find out, using private email account instead of official government account is not a felony but destroying or concealing official government documents, and email messages are such, is.

Did she concealing any email? The short answer is: YES. The long answer is: YES,  she did.
During Benghazi investigation Hillary Clinton's email where subpoenaed from the State Department but never delivered. Now we know why, and we know that she did not provided them either.

So far we hear that she is facing 3 years in jail and disqualification from holding any public office. But, the sentence depends on how many documents she concealed. Because there is jail time per document.

Meanwhile AP and other organizations are considering legal action against the government and or Clinton based on Freedom of Information Act requests, some as far back as 2010, for documents that were never delivered.

#Hillary #HillaryClinton #Benghazi

Is Hillary above the law?

You would think that it might be difficult for Hillary Clinton to run her presidential campaign from behind the bars, since she broke federal law concerning the use of official email. But, don't worry, it took Democrats less then 24 hours to explain that that particular law was just a suggestion and that she followed the "spirit" of the law.
"...her spokesperson says that she, while using this personal account, was adhering to the spirit and the letter of the law..."
Today Hillary Clinton said that she wants public to see her emails and appealed to the State Department to release them. Now, how does that work? Since she owns the server she basically controls which emails we can see. Yes, email administrators can go through EVERYONE's email accounts and look for email from or to her but it may take months.

Now, rumor has it that the server runs from Bill's sock drawer.

UPDATE: We found a picture of her email server :). (If you look at the picture long enough you will see a shadow of blue dress.)

Is there anybody in Obama administration that did not break the law? OMG is it John Kerry?

It must be really really bad if The New York Times, the most loyal Obama supporter in the media, reveals that Hillary Clinton used private email to conduct business. Just that, the use of private email account, is against the law. Why? For starters, because private email is easier to hack than government email. (And if you do, since it is outside of government, the drones will not put cross-hairs on your forehead.) Second, the government cannot provide copies of those emails to any oversight, because they don't have them.
NYT: Hillary Rodham Clinton exclusively used a personal email account to conduct government business as secretary of state, State Department officials said, and may have violated federal requirements that officials’ correspondence be retained as part of the agency’s record.
There already were suspicions among those who investigated the Benghazi attack. Because, the amount of emails provided to them was low.
HotAir: Ever wonder why multiple investigations of the Benghazi attack failed to turn up much from Hillary Clinton’s e-mails? So did the House Select Committee investigating the attack on the facility and the failures that led to it.
We do have the right to know what people who work for us do while at work but we can't because neither Hillary nor her people...
...took no actions to have her personal emails preserved on department servers at the time, as required by the Federal Records Act...
Will she go to jail? No. She just became even more qualified, at least by Obama's standards, to become the next president.
