We deserve an explanation from Ukrainian government

After an immense support from Poles for Ukraine in the latest conflict, we deserve an explanation why two weeks ago Ukraine's parliament saw that it was appropriate to honor the 65th anniversary of death of Roman Shukhevych? For those who hear this name for the first time, here is a brief, very brief, introduction: Mr. Roman Shukhevych is considered a war criminal. He is believed to be partially responsible for ethnic cleansing, or massacres at the scale and brutality never seen before in that part of Europe, of Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia.

The big question is: how the two-time recipient of the (German) Iron Cross (mentioned in the Polish version of Wikipedia, but not in the English version) and war criminal could also become a national hero?

Honoring such man while receiving help from Poles (some of them related to his victims) is a huge "slap in the face".
