Polish Foreign Minister on the inequality of member states

Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz: the European Council is not a super-government, and the European Parliament - a super-parliament.

He stressed that the treaty on the functioning of the European Union states that "the EU only operates within the limits of the competences conferred upon it by the Member States" and "all competences not conferred upon the Union in the treaties remain with the Member States".
