Russia may intervene in Venezuela, are we ready?

theguardian.com
While US politicians are busy with obstructing their own president Russia is not only thinking about helping Maduro, apparently they already started. Both Russian and UK's media are reporting that Russian mercenaries are already in Venezuela. "Russian Mercenaries Arrive in Venezuela to Shore Up Maduro's Rule."

You may have already heard about them. It's most likely that's the same group that got themselves into a major battle with US forces in Syria and suffered major losses.

It is reported that there is major anger in Moscow and sending mercenaries is only a first step. There are calls in their media, and that means that Kremlin allowed that, to send regular forces to protect Russian investments and prestige. The US may have to move swiftly to prevent that.
