President Obama has another "great" idea that will improve our lives. This time it's mandatory voting. So, if you don't like either candidate, for example Hillary Clinton and Jeb Bush, you would not have the right to send the message to your party by simply not voting.
That reminds me 1984 in Poland when students wanted to send the communist government the message by boycotting the elections. The problem was the secret police knew what was going on so the students were told that if they don't vote they will be kicked out from the schools.
It that what we want? Why would we want the government to know that we didn't vote? While the government may not know who we voted for some people will assume that they do and they will feel that they have to vote for the governing party.
This is the shortcut to transform the democracy into the dictatorship. Thanks a lot Mr. President.
