While the sequester negatively affects White House tours, seniors & food stamp recipients our First Lady travels in STYLE. On the grand scale. According to Keith Koffler and Independent.ie the First Lady will stay in $3,000 a night suite and her entourage (or staff for the rest of us) will take 30 rooms at a posh hotel in Ireland. All of that at taxpayers' (yes, you & me) expense.

Nice little vacation and all this shared sacrifice.

I hear that IRS will not audit this expense.

BTW. White House is still closed for us.
