What do terrorists countries you do when another country is about to elect new government? You assassinate politicians that may oppose you, especially those that are popular.
Over this weekend there were two assassinations i Ukraine. One of them was successful. This morning the mayor of Kremenchuk (Poltava region) Oleh Babayev was shot three times from the passing car as he was trowing out the garbage. He died from the wounds. He was very popular and supported new government.
Last night a house of the mayor of Lvov (major city) was hit with an anti-tank missile. Luckily him and his family was out of town. Needless to say he is also very popular and the size of his city makes him a powerful politician.
