If the game was not cancelled the attack would be even worse than in Paris

While officially they say the game was cancelled over "concrete" bomb threat unofficially the cops believe the attack would be as big if not bigger than the one in Paris. Apparently they expected several explosions. Attack during the event of this size means that while a lot of people would be killed or injured from the explosions, the resulting panic and stampede would kill even more, a lot more.
