The European Commission has signed a contract for 400 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine


 The European Commission announced on Wednesday that it had signed an agreement on behalf of EU countries with the US drug manufacturer Johnson & Johnson for the supply of 400 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

As the coronavirus is spreading rapidly in Europe, we want to provide a future vaccine to protect citizens. Today we signed a contract with Johnson and Johnson. It enables EU countries to purchase up to 400 million doses. This is our third contract with a pharmaceutical company. - Says EC statement.
