Within four days, Lithuanians collected EUR 5 million needed to purchase the Bayraktar drone produced in Turkey, which will be handed over to the defending Ukraine. The fundraising campaign was announced by Andrius Tapinas, a well-known Lithuanian journalist and social activist.
The collected money will be transferred to the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, whose representatives are going to Turkey next week to negotiate and sign a letter of intent regarding the purchase of Bayraktar drone.
