The Polish government, which is very conservative, and conservative media are very upset at Tucker Carlson, who is considered a conservative commentator. The term "useful idiot" was even used at least once.
According to Niezalezna(.)pl, Stanisław Żaryn, government plenipotentiary for the security of the information, said that a former Fox News journalist Tucker Carlson is once again spreading lies that are in Russia's interest."
As he emphasized, Carlson's statements were picked up and resonated in the Russian media.
In Żaryn's opinion, "Carlson - consciously or not - pursues the goals of Russian propaganda and spreads lies that are in Russia's interest."
Żaryn quoted Carlson's statement, in which he allegedly said that "blowing up the dam in New Kakhovka may have been bad for Ukraine, but it affected Russia more. And perhaps that is why the Ukrainian government decided to destroy it."
