Next week we will celebrate 80th anniversary of Warsaw Uprising

On August 1st, all Poles will celebrate another anniversary of the greatest sacrifice young Poles made in 1944, fitting the enemy who intended to destroy the whole city before the Polish and Soviet armies arrived to liberate it. It was intended to lower the chances of large civilian casualties. Unfortunately, Germans wouldn't have it. The price Varsovians paid, especially Warsaw's youth, was astronomical, with 200,000 deaths.

Please take the time to visit the Warsaw Uprising page to learn more. This page includes links to several books that will give you an even better idea about this intentionally forgotten event of World War II.

To show our commitment to the remembrance of this Uprising, the price of the paperback edition of Killing Warsaw has been lowered by 20% until October 3rd. The price of the Kindle edition will be lowered by 65% from August 1st - 8th (limitation coming from Kindle).
