If the presidential elections were held next Sunday, the opposition's candidate, Karol Nawrocki, would win in the second round. This is the result of the study, according to which the independent candidate would defeat government's favored candidate Rafał Trzaskowski, with a score of 50.6%. to 49.4 percent.
The news prompted the editors of Gazeta Wyborcza (Poland's NYT) to attack the candidate with the article "The presidential apartment. What else is Karol Nawrocki hiding?"
There are no facts or specifics in it. There are anonymous informants who provide information that "may" concern Nawrocki, but a thesis is proposed that he could have been experiencing a marital crisis while ge worked as the president of the Institute of National Remembrance.
Not surprisingly, the "influencers" supporting, or even members of, the current government picked up the idea and are running with it.
One of them wrote:
Tomorrow I propose that PiS (Law & Justice) organizes a conference for us entitled: Family and Christian Values, obviously broadcasted live from by Father Rydzyk's Radio, and the main lecturer would, of course, be Karol Nawrocki.
PN: If that reminds you behavior of America media and some politicians (who just lost) you would be right.
