German elites are facing parliamentary elections. They are deeply shocked because they use the methods described by Vance against parties that do not fit into their establishment.
They can't argue with Vance using facts, so they fall into hysterics. They don't wonder whether he is right or wrong. Is what he said untrue, or is it true? This debate is not taking place at this level because they do not want to engage in such a discourse. They want to silence such speakers through various forms of censorship. But they can't censor JD Vance, so they get hysterical and try to shout him down. They don't tell us where he was wrong.
Donald Tusk joined German politicians and attacked the US vice president for quoting St. John Paul II. He is also using the methods described by JD Vance. He knows he is now in the spotlight, so he has to attack and get support from his anti-American allies.
