Poland Fights for Nuclear Security Guarantees. Wants To Join Nuclear Sharing

President Andrzej Duda announced that he had spoken with General Keith Kellogg, Donald Trump's special envoy, about the possibilities of including Poland in the NATO Nuclear Sharing program.

As part of the Nuclear Sharing program, American nuclear weapons are being deployed in selected NATO countries, primarily to deter potential aggressors. The initiative currently includes Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Turkey. Poland, on the other hand, has been making efforts to be included in this group for years, but so far they have been torpedoed by some left-liberal political forces, including those associated with the Prime Minister Donald Tusk's camp. However, thanks to President Andrzej Duda, the topic has just once again found its way onto the agenda of Polish-American talks.

PM: Since the presidential elections are in two months, the Tusk's camp pretends to be super anti-Putin. So instead of openly blocking the idea, they will "slow-walk" everything.
