Poland: Military Police searches an apartment of a well-known journalist

Journalist, film director, and screenwriter Ewa Stankiewicz-Jorgensen reported that the Military Police searched her apartment.

Ewa Stankiewicz-Jorgensen caused quite a stir with her documentary about the crash of the presidential plane in Smolensk, Russia, entitled "State of Danger", in which she presented her version of the events of April 10, 2010.

The journalist told TV Republika that the Military Police officers entered her apartment at around 6:00 a.m.

"They searched all the rooms, including the storage room. We were shown a search warrant and informed that they were looking for Tupolev (presidential plane) parts. They have a list of about 20 parts they are looking for," she said.

"These are simulated and intimidating actions, which are intended to discipline people who are trying to find the truth, who have evidence of the explosion and the crime that was committed (in Smolensk). It is unheard of that in a democratic state it is not possible to hold accountable the crimes committed against the President of Poland and 95 people who are key to the sovereignty of the state," said Ewa Stankiewicz-Jorgensen.

PN: These actions show that despite the claims of the current government and Donald Tusk, there is some truth to the theories that the death of President Lech Kaczyński was not accidental but an assassination and the there are powerful figures who want to cover it up.
