Presidential candidate Karol Nawrocki announced his election program "Plan 21"

Today, a conference took place with Karol Nawrocki, a civic candidate for the President of the Republic of Poland supported by Law and Justice. During his speech, the candidate announced details of the election program.

"I will put this government to work, and if it is not ready to work for Poles, let it resign. I am announcing "Plan 21", leading us to normality, security, and prosperity. I will implement 'Plan 21, which must start with the development of Poland, ' he declared.

Here are some points of the program:

Central Communication Port

"The development of Poland requires a return to the original plan of the Central Communication Port. It was to be the engine of the Polish economy. From the airport, the heart of Polish development, the blood of development would be pumped to the whole of Poland, which was to be united in sustainable development..."

Infrastructure development

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I will be the president who will say 'yes' to Polish (high-speed) railways, Polish ports and roads, [...] today, for investment coherence, we need at least a dozen intermodal terminals [...] we need the state's infrastructure development, because it meets our aspirations" – announced Nawrocki.

Yes to artificial intelligence

"Today, we are in a moment of great revolution, also in the field of new technologies. This revolution can be compared to the race for the atomic bomb. A revolution that is comparable to the Internet revolution. We are at a turning point. Poland must have its own Silicon Valley. As president, I will ensure that people responsible for the development of new technologies are placed in the most significant diplomatic missions, especially the diplomatic mission in the USA, and that the President of the Republic of Poland has his representatives in the most important development institutions in the field of new technologies around the world," he said.

Education reform. "The student must leave school as a Pole"

There will be no development of the Republic of Poland without Polish education. We must create a coherent educational system that requires great responsibility from all of us. It requires great responsibility from politicians of all backgrounds and parties. Regarding education, we should learn to think not only in four- or five-year sprints, but we must create a curriculum that will give our students confidence that they will be prepared to live in the modern world. [...] There will be no compromise on one thing. The student must leave school as a Pole!

No for Euro, yes to cash

"No for the Euro, yes for cash. In the situation where the EU finds itself today, [...] in the absence of financial stability and high prices, giving the ECB influence and flexibility about the Polish currency, the ability to influence is a significant threat."

Lower, simple, pro-family taxes
The civic candidate also presented a package of tax solutions. He presented it in the form of a contract:

  • - no tax increases
  • - reduction of VAT (value added tax) from 23%. at 22 percent
  • - 0 percent income tax for families with two or more children
  • - a package of new and straightforward tax laws
  • - tax-free inheritance
  • - tight budget

5 percent of GDP for defense

"The most important prerogative of the President of the Republic of Poland is security. The president is the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, [...] Security will be the most important thing for me, not only because of the constitution, but also because of what is happening and what we are monitoring," he said.

He added that the Polish army should number at least 300,000 troops.

Termination of the migration pact

"Illegal migration is what has been affecting us lately and is very disturbing. [...] When we look through the German press, we find out what will happen in our country in terms of illegal migration."

"Return Home, to Poland"

Nawrocki announced that he would implement the "Return Home, Poland" program.

"This will be (our) response to demographic issues... it cannot be that illegal migrants come to Poland, but we will not take care of those Poles who remain abroad. Yes, that 20 million. We must do everything to let them return to Poland.

Today, the Polish state budget does not receive taxes from them. We should exempt them from taxes for the next 10 years to encourage them to return. We should allow students from Central Asia to come here. To students who have Polish roots and want to be Polish."

"We are supposed to deal with Poles (living) outside Poland, not illegal immigrants," he emphasized.
