Polish Prime Minister tried to ignore this extraordinary day, but Poles would have none of it.
Practically against this government's wishes, over 100,000 Poles marched through Warsaw to celebrate two anniversaries. One, 1000 years since a coronation of the first Polish king; and second, 500 years since Prussian Homage.
Judging by posts on X, the whole Warsaw's downtown was white and red. One such post also shows well over one thousand pairs (official count: 1165; for leftists: that's over 2,000 people) dancing traditional Polish dance, Polonez.
The celebrations in Warsaw were extraordinary because, for unknown reasons (although there are some theories), the government did not want them to take place. The PM went as far as calling them PiS (Law & Justice) march.
