Two weeks have already passed since the elections, and only now has Mr. Tusk demanded a recount of votes. He does so based on irregularities in 13 (thirteen) out of 32,000 commissions. At this point, it is difficult to say whether the National Electoral Commission will agree to this motion, but Tusk has his people there, so anything is possible, and they have already tried to make this happen.
The war that has just broken out in the Middle East presents a favorable opportunity for Tusk and his party. International public opinion, and especially the European Union, will not be watching him as closely as they did a week ago. And we already know that they have tried some dirty tricks.
