Speaker of the Sejm did not come to his hearing regarding the coup d'état

Sejm Speaker Szymon Hołownia did not appear at the Warsaw District Prosecutor's Office today. The politician was scheduled to testify today regarding his remarks about a "coup d'état" in July of this year. His attorney, Filip Curyło, pointed out, among other things, that Hołownia had already answered all the prosecutor's questions.

According to the opinion of the procedural lawyer, Professor Andrzej Sakowicz, it is clear that the participation of representatives of the National Council of the Judiciary and the Constitutional Tribunal in today's hearing is not possible, as they are not entities that can be considered wronged in this case, added attorney Curyło.

Attorney Bartosz Lewandowski reminded the court that the National Council of the Judiciary and the Constitutional Tribunal are the injured parties in the investigation. The provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure allow for the submission of a number of questions.

Attorney Bartosz Lewandowski reminded the court that the National Council of the Judiciary and the Constitutional Tribunal are the injured parties in the investigation. The provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure allow for a range of questions. "The Marshal responded to the prosecutor's question in a rather general way. I don't understand it. The investigation into the coup d'état also covers unlawful threats, including the use of violence against constitutional state bodies. This is also the subject of the prosecutor's investigation. I don't understand why the witness is cherry-picking which questions to answer," he stated.

Too bad. We were hoping to find out more about plans for coup d'état and who was planning it.
