During a press conference at Warsaw's Okęcie airport before his departure to Paris for a meeting of the so-called "coalition of the willing," Donald Tusk addressed the topic of Greenland.
"There is no doubt that the issue of Greenland will be an unforeseen and unplanned topic. It has stirred up a lot of emotions throughout Europe and in Poland. Two things are clear and very difficult to reconcile, let's not kid ourselves. But they are obviously clear and unambiguous. No member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization should attack or threaten another member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Otherwise, NATO would lose its meaning if there were conflicts or mutual aggressive actions within the alliance," Tusk stated at a press briefing before departing for a meeting in Paris.
"I would like it to be clear to everyone in Washington that any attempts to break up or undermine the essence of NATO, the North Atlantic Treaty, will not be accepted in virtually any European country. At least, that's what I hope," added the PM.
Tusk is probably the worst Polish Prime Minister since 1989, who has very poor relations with the Washington.
