Media did it again

Most European media, with one (1) exception, omitted a very important detail in "Attack on Church in France..." news information. They omitted the part that says that attackers nearly beheaded the 84 year old priest cutting his throat, which almost automatically makes it an Islamic terrorist attack. Without this detail they could say, and some of them do, that the motive of the attack is a mystery.

Question is, why did they hide this detail?
