Margaret Thatcher dies in London

Britain's first and only female prime minister Baroness Thatcher has died at the age of 87 after suffering a stroke.

Fact: It was a Soviet journalist that called her the "Iron Lady", a nickname which became associated with her uncompromising politics and leadership style.
