How bad is a scandal with NSA spying on ALL of US?

Well, our President is saying that there is nothing to it. "'Nobody is listening to your phone calls". If that is true then why our military is not allowed to read about it?

Let me repeat that. Our military is not allowed to read about NSA scandal. To be precise, Air Force is ordering members of the service not to look at news stories about it.

“Users are not to use AF NIPRNET systems to access the Verizon phone records collection and other related news stories because the action could constitute a Classified Message Incident.”
