Government wants us to feel the pain from the "shutdown"

Slowly it becomes clear that President Obama and Democrats are trying to punish the "rest of us" for the "shutdown" by closing parks and memorials to the public. It actually cost more to put up the barriers around those parks and monuments then when government was running at "full speed" (or before shutdown).

For the last 2 days WWII veterans are trying to peacefully visit WWII memorials and are not allowed to do so. On Tuesday and Wednesday they simply moved the barriers and went in anyway. We hear that today the park police installed fences. Nice!
