There are reports that a new "Iron Curtain" will divide Europe and Ukraine will find itself on the other side of it. In other words it looks like Obama and Western European leaders are ready to treat Ukraine as Russia's backyard (sphere of influence).
In return West reserves a right to place more military assets on the territory of new NATO members. At least that's the promises given to Poland in hopes to keep them quiet on the issue. But, there are already signals that Germany and Netherlands are totally against any NATO bases in Poland. So, even this promise already has an expiration date and looking at a list of broken promises that President Obama gave, including one given to Ukraine, we are looking at a repeat of Munich 1938.
