For the last few days a White House spokesman, Eric Schultz, has been doing everything not to call the Taliban a terrorist organization. On Wednesday, Schultz called the Taliban an “armed insurgency.”
Why would White House do that? Because a few months ago on the urgent need for any success in Afghanistan, the White House negotiated with Taliban the release Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. But, US as a matter of principle does not negotiate with terrorists. So, they decided to simply stop calling Taliban the terrorists and call them insurgents instead.
Unfortunately for the White House the Taliban, as the good terrorists would, killed 3 Americans and then claimed responsibility for doing that.
Mr. President, please don't try that hard, we already know that "emperor has no clothes".
