While the entire Middle East is about to go to war over
beheading of Shi'ite cleric Nimr al-Nimr an invigorated President Obama,
apparently daily golf will do that to him, is about to start a ‘gun grabbing’ campaign
against law abiding citizens breaking the Constitution in the process.
Bahrain and Sudan cut all ties with Iran, and the United
Arab Emirates (UAE), home to hundreds of thousands of Iranians, downgraded its
relations. Saudi Arabia broke off relations on Sunday after a mob stormed its
embassy in Tehran. President Obama says nothing.
China declared itself "highly concerned" with the
developments. The United States and Germany called for restraint, while Russia
offered to mediate an end to the dispute. President Obama, Nobel Peace Prize
winner, says nothing.
Global shares tumble as fears rise over fresh turmoil while
President Barack Obama is mounting a push to make gun control part of his
legacy.
