Desecrating a flag

You send your sons and daughters to fight a war. You ask them to do the same. They fight shoulder to shoulder with the same enemy. Some of them sacrifice their lives to save the lives of the other. And then ... you desecrate their flag.

You see an American flag burned, walked on or worse. You tell yourself, our side would never do that. You would not be surprised if it was done by the New York Times or the Washington Post. In fact, you would even expect that, but the Washington Times? So, imagine how I felt when I saw that?


My parents, my grandparents fought in several wars under this flag. I have no words...
