In early June, the National Electoral Commission (PKW) asked the Internal Security Agency for urgent clarification regarding the sources of financing for the online campaign supporting Rafał Trzaskowski. This concerns materials that attacked Karol Nawrocki and Sławomir Mentzen, and showed the deputy head of the Civic Platform in a favorable light.
PKW asked 9 questions and gave the government agency 3 days to respond. The agency did indeed come, but only after 22 days. What's more, it has a confidentiality clause.
Law and Justice MPs were also unable to familiarize themselves with the response - although they have access to classified information. On Tuesday, at a press conference, they announced that they had been refused to perform a parliamentary control in this regard.
