On Friday 4,5 million students will sing the Polish National Anthem at the same time

Over 4.6 million school pupils and 450,000 teachers from over 24 thousand schools, plus 91 schools abroad, will sing the national anthem on Friday at 11:11 a.m. (Warsaw time) as Poland marks the centenary of recovering its independence.

The initiative has been organized by Poland’s education ministry.

On November 11, Poland marks the centenary of regaining its independence after more than 120 years of foreign rule. A host of events is being held to mark the centennial.
