Poland made an app for quarantined citizens to prove they're staying inside

There is an app for that

Poland on Friday released an app which requires people in quarantine for COVID-19 to periodically send selfies of themselves on request to prove they're sticking to their quarantine.
If users don't respond to a request for a selfie within 20 minutes police will be alerted.

"People in quarantine have a choice: either receive unexpected visits from the police, or download this app," Karol Manys, the Digital Ministry spokesman, told AFP.

The app was created to conserve limited resources of police and reportedly 100 percent of those in quarantine use it.
