Poland one of the cheapest EU countries when it comes to food

Poland is one of the cheapest European Union countries when it comes to food prices according to recent Eurostat data. Food prices in Poland are lower than the average for the 27 EU countries by 31.2 percent.

Although it should the food prices there made one of the biggest jumps in the entire EU,  by 5%, while 2.1% in the EU.

On the other hand, Poland is still the cheapest country in the European Union when it comes to prices of communication services - internet, telephone and postal services. Poland also does very well when it comes to the costs of apartments and houses, taking second place among the cheapest in Europe.
