"There is no consent for social or cultural experiments." Letter to the EC regarding illegal immigrants

The Polish government is strongly opposed to any relocation of illegal immigrants in our country - declared today Interior Minister and Administration Mariusz Kamiński. This position was included in the letter addressed to the European Commission. The signatories - in addition to the Polish minister - are also the ministers of six other European Union countries (Slovakia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia and Slovenia).

In March, some countries of the south of Europe issued a request to the EC to introduce quick and obligatory "relocation of illegal immigrants who found themselves in the EU", and in April the governments of Italy, Spain, Germany and France supported this demand.

- How these types of experiments end, we can see in the example of many Western European countries, where there are significant clusters of people neither culturally, nor socially connected with the places where they reside. This leads to tragic consequences, social conflicts, racist and religious conflicts - argued the minister.
