The European Commission has reservations about the reform of the judiciary. But ... they can't point out the specifics

- So far, we have proven to the European Commission that it is not able to show where the violations of specific provisions (of the "rule of law" - PN) actually are - said Deputy Minister of Justice Sebastian Kaleta.

"For many years, we have been a party to various types of proceedings that the European Commission has initiated against Poland, investigating alleged violations of the rule of law in Poland."

He recalled the EC judgment from November 19, 2019, in which he quoted that "it is difficult to point out specific violations of changes in the National Court Register, because standards in other countries are different and there is no uniform model, but based on a sense of impression and possibility based on the loss of trust, it should be assessed that the Supreme Court Disciplinary Board established by the new National Court Register does not guarantee independence " - (pardon me I am laughing hysterically - PN).

According to the minister this is not a legal concept and I think most of us will agree.
