The beginning of the gaming boom in Poland

The video game market in Poland is developing at an impressive pace, and the expected success of the latest CD Projekt production may lead to a real explosion in the potential of this industry.

The premiere of "Cyberpunk 2077" is expected on November 19 of this year. Industry journalists from all over the world have already had the opportunity to test the latest CD Projekt production and melt with delight. "The best RPG of the next generation. Outstanding", "looks absolutely incredible and plays phenomenally", "some games have a visual style; others have a spirit. None have it all" - write gaming bloggers on Eurogamer.de, the Gamereactor.eu or the Australian blog Kotaku.

The market has a new driving force, the players who are already in their prime. As many as 15 percent of Polish fans of digital entertainment are people 55+. Moreover, one third of them consider games as their hobbies and devote a lot of time to them, some as much as 14 hours a week. - People 55+ are an opportunity for the game production industry - says Anna Kaźmierczak, director at Intel. 

Designing and producing games is already a thriving industry in Poland. In total, it represents over 400 companies.
