Poland will increase its investment in the Three Seas Initiative

The President of the Management Board of National Development Bank (BGK), Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka, announced that Poland intends to invest another EUR 250 million in the Three Seas project.

"Poland, through the BGK bank, increases its share in the Three Seas Fund. We are investing an additional € 250 million in #3SIIF - our total commitment is € 750 million - a solid investment foundation for the future!" - announced the president of the management board of BGK.

- This is one third of the territory of the European Union, it is one fourth of the European population, I think about the European Union and I see that's only 10 percent its capital, so it is still not enough, but it is also a great prospect - said President Andrzej Duda a few weeks ago during the Conference of the Three Sea Exchanges in Krakow.

- I would like us to continue and develop this cooperation, which was then between Poland and Hungary, between Poland and Lithuania. I think we have great prospects during those peaceful times, when we have been living in free, independent, sovereign states for over 30 years. For us Poles, when we look deeper into our history, this is the greatest opportunity in our history since the 17th century. It may be hard to believe, but it is true. The last time Poland had such strength was in the 17th century and it is our great task to take advantage of this opportunity - added Andrzej Duda.
