The Polish Ministry of Health has released new data on COVID-19 infections. Today there are 17,171 new cases of coronavirus infection, yesterday there were 21,897 new cases.
The ministry reports that a total of 24,483 beds are prepared for COVID-19 patients and 1,852 ventilators. There are currently 16.427 infected people in hospitals and 1,371 are on respirators. On the national scale, the pool of vacant beds is 8,056, and the pool of respirators is 481.
There are 439,159 people in quarantine.
Poland has approximately 1,000 ventilators in reserves.
