Poland's energy company, PKN Orlen, has chosen the Canadian company Northland Power Inc. as an industry partner to build the offshore wind farm project in the Baltic Sea. The cooperation involves the preparation, construction, and operation of a wind farm with a capacity of up to 1.2 GW. The Canadian company will ultimately take up 49 percent of shares. The construction is planned to start in 2023, and its commissioning - in 2026.
