The Warsaw University of Technology is working on a vaccine

A team from the Warsaw University of Technology is working on a vaccine against COVID-19. Scientists are ready to have it tested on animals. For the next stage of research, they need a partner - a pharmaceutical company - and funding.

There is still room for new vaccines on the market - believes professor Ciach, leader of the team. He pointed out that access to foreign-made vaccines is not guaranteed. Parts of Asia or Africa still cannot count on access to vaccinations, so this problem is still not solved.

Another argument for own vaccine production technology is that it is unknown how long the current COVID-19 vaccines will remain immune. It may turn out that vaccinations - as in the case of flu - will have to be renewed from time to time. Permanent access to your vaccine will mean security and savings.
