Polish tennis player Iga Świątek breaks into top 10

 After a phenomenal win in Rome over the weekend, capturing the second-biggest title of her career, the 2020 Roland Garros champion Iga Świątek jumped from No. 15 to No. 9 on Monday's new WTA rankings.

Świątek, who will be 20 on May 31, defeated the Czech Karolina Pliskova 6-0, 6-0 in the finals.

She is the second Polish woman ever to reach the WTA Top 10, after former No. 2 Agnieszka Radwanska.
