Warsaw Uprising Calendar: August 25 - the decision to evacuate Old Town is made

- The fierce battle for the buildings of the National Security Printing Works. The situation forces the insurgents to evacuate the civilians remaining in the buildings in the heart of the fighting.

- The fight is also taking place in the buildings of the John of God hospital, which was managed by the insurgents.

- In the Old Town, fights are taking place at the "Fiat" factory in Sapieżyńska and for the convent of the Canonesses. Because of the difficult logistics and supply situation in the Old Town the insurgents' leaders decide to evacuate troops through the sewers.

- Taking advantage of the enemy's involvement in the Old Town, the insurgents try to get better strategic positions in other parts of the city.
