Germans will come to Poland to refuel their cars

In response to high inflation in the country, the Polish government temporarily lowers some tax rates, which primarily benefit car drivers.

With price differences of up to 30 cents per liter (close to $1/gallon), which translates to savings of 15 euros per tank, residents of eastern Germany find it profitable to go to a gas station in Poland, wrote the Maerkische Allgemeine daily and published Polish fuel names, "so that people who do not speak Polish do not accidentally fill the tank with the wrong fuel."

With such differences in prices, residents of eastern Brandenburg will find it profitable to commute to a Polish gas station. So experts, therefore, expect increased fuel tourism from Germany to Poland in the coming weeks.
