Poland in shock over brutality of police in Amsterdam

Opponents of covid restrictions protested in Amsterdam. There were brutal clashes with the police: Dutch officers used rubber truncheons, water cannons, and even attack dogs. How the police behaved towards the protesters is highly controversial.

"Things like that simply don't happen in Poland. Intervention should not be so brutal and violent" - says the editor-in-chief of Gazeta Polska, Tomasz Sakiewicz, referring to brutal police interventions during protests in the Netherlands.
