Poland’s President Andrzej Duda tests positive for COVID-19 for 2nd time


 Due to a number of cases in his offices, President Andrzej Duda had a coronavirus test, which gave a positive result. The president feels well, but he is in isolation - the head of the President's Cabinet, Paweł Szrot, informed on Wednesday. 

The presidential minister said that Andrzej Duda took two doses of the vaccine against Covid-19 (in April and June last year) and a third, booster dose (December 17).

"The president feels well, does not have severe symptoms, and is under constant medical care" - wrote Szrot on Twitter.

In the last 24 hours, there were 632 deaths related to the COVID-19 in Poland. Among the deaths, as many as 449 cases were with COVID presence. Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, 98,666 COVID-19 patients have died in Poland. 

Since February 2020, Poland had 4,162,715 infections nationwide.
