"Due to the Russian aggression, Minister Mariusz Błaszczak decided to introduce another level of readiness in separate units of operational forces and territorial defense forces," - says a press release by the Ministry of National Defense.
"The decisions on holidays and business trips have also been withdrawn. The decision to introduce another level of readiness is a standard action in such situations" - reads the release.
"The minister of national defense is in constant contact with military commanders and ministers of national defense of allied countries. The Polish Armed Forces will react adequately to the situation," added the MoD.
