"From this place, I appeal to the European Commission for the fund of solidarity with Ukraine to finally start working," - said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in Lviv.
On Tuesday, the PM visited Lviv, where, thanks to the cooperation of Polish and Ukrainian authorities, a container town for internal refugees was established.
"This 'town' is to be used in the short term" - he said.
"The living conditions here are typically temporary for those people who just have nowhere to go" - added.
Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki pointed out that the project of building container towns was discussed at the National Security Council and raised by Paweł Kukiz, the leader of Kukiz'15 party.
