Four Russian fighters have breached Polish airspace. The planes were turned back by European planes.
- European fighters today took part in an international action to intercept four Russian fighters that breached Polish and Swedish airspace, - the Italian Air Force said.
Italian services said Russian fighters were immediately forced to return to Kaliningrad's airspace.
A spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, accused Poland of provocation against the Russian ambassador in Warsaw, Sergei Andreyev.
On Monday, Andreyev was summoned to the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with pseudo-referenda in the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine and the decision of President Vladimir Putin to annex these lands.
