“The Polish Army will soon receive K239 Chunmoo rocket launchers. Today I have approved an executive contract for the purchase of 218 launchers with logistics and training packages and ammunition," - wrote Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak on social media. The deliveries are scheduled for 2023-2027.
The net value of the transaction is $3.55 billion, and it covers the cost of 218 Chunmoo K239 multi-lead missile launcher modules along with logistics, technical support, training packages, ammunition stock, and several thousand precision missiles for a range of 80 km and 290 km.
