Niezalezna_pl/Wpolityce_pl: President Zełenski announced on Twitter that in a conversation with President Duda, he informed about what he had heard in the United States.
"Today's meeting with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky was not only an opportunity to send Christmas and New Year's wishes, but also gave the opportunity to discuss strategic action plans and cooperation in the coming year," - wrote President Andrzej Duda on social media.
The meeting took place on Thursday in Rzeszów, on Zelensky's way back from the US.
The conversation between Presidents Duda and Zelenskiy took place right after the meeting between the Ukrainian leader and the President of the United States Joe Biden. President Duda could immediately find out how the talks between President Zelensky and President Biden went and what commitments the United States had made to support Ukraine.
"The possibility of discussing what may happen in the future, what Poland can expect in the context of military actions and American support for Ukraine, is very important" - said deputy to the Sejm and member of the Foreign Affairs Committee Paweł Zalewski - "It's good that we could learn about the scale of American promises and Ukrainian plans, he added.
